Homeland security is quickly adapting military technology to suit homeland security applications. They are relying on contract manufacturers with design and assembly experience in military and avionics applications to meet ever increasing requirements for high performance, integrated functionality and high reliability.
Segue has become a critical partner for several major Homeland Security customers by providing:
- Design Expertise: Segue has collaborated as an integrated design team member with several Homeland Security companies to concurrently design complex cables and related sub-assemblies that are incorporated into the customer's overall system design. Segue provides molded and over-molded custom cables on a quick turn basis for rapid proto-typing and production quantities.
- Agile Manufacturing Processes: Manufacturing and delivery of durable and rugged cable assemblies on a kanban replenishment basis. We have demonstrated the capability to plan, document and ramp production using the latest techniques associated with DFM, DFT, JIT, Lean Principles and Vendor Managed Materials.
- Process Capability: Workers trained to IPC-620, J-STD-001, and MIL-HDBK-454 and QA Standards by certified in-house instructors.
